Air filter change on Defender Td4

Vehicle ➔ Defender 90 Td4 2013
Difficulty ➔ Easy

Time ➔ 30 minutes
Summary

Do not clean the air filter with a blower because the high air pressure could damage the filter paper. The air filter would then be ineffective.

If the air filter is dirty, don't hesitate to change it. An OEM air filter costs only a few pounds.

If you also want to change your Defender's engine oil, it is best to buy the Td4 service kit (DA6040P) which includes : 1 drain plug (1013938) + 1 oil filter (LR004459) + 1 air filter (PHE500060) + 1 fuel filter (WJI500040).
