Remove the air filter box
Op 01

Locate where are :
  • The air duct (1st photo).
  • The air filter box (2nd photo).
  • The throttle body (3rd photo).

Unscrew the air inlet duct fixing bolt on the front upper cross member. Use the 7 mm socket spanner.

Remove the air intake duct mounting screw

Detach the air inlet duct from the front upper cross member.
Unclip the locking tab (1st photo) and pull by hand.

Detach the air inlet duct from the air filter box.
Unclip the 2 locking tabs (2nd photo) and pull by hand.

There are 2 locking tabs. One visible on the side of the duct and the other invisible located under the duct.

Disconnect the hose from the air filter box. Pull by hand.

Loosen the hose clamp on the throttle body. Use the 7 mm socket spanner.

Unclip the gearbox breather from the air filter box. Spread the clip and pull by hand.

Remove the air filter box :
  • Lift the front part of the box by hand to detach the 3 locking fingers (2nd photo).
  • Slide the box to the RH side to detach it from the throttle body (3rd photo).

The locking fingers are firmly fixed. Do not hesitate to pull hard when you lift the front of the air filter box.

Turn the air filter box over and locate the 4 fixing bolts for the cover.

Unscrew the 4 fixing bolts of the air filter box cover. Use the T25 torx key.
Remove the cover. Pull by hand.

Remove the air filter from the box cover. Pull by hand.

Thoroughly clean the air filter box and its cover.

Fit the new air filter on the box cover.

Fit the peripheral seal of the air filter into the box cover. Push with your finger.

Close the air filter box.
Screw in the 4 fixing screws. Use the T25 torx key.

Locate the 3 rubber holders (1st photo) in which the 3 locking fingers of the air filter box will be housed (2nd photo).

Fit the air filter box :
  • Engage the air filter box on the throttle body (1st and 2nd photo).
  • Lower the front part of the box and engage the 3 locking fingers (3rd and 4th photo). Press firmly with your hand.

Check that the hose clamp is in place before replacing the air filter box.

Tighten the hose clamp on the throttle body. Use the 7 mm socket spanner.

Before tightening the hose clamp, check that it is properly engaged on the box boss (1st photo).

Connect the hose to the air filter box.
